Well the A3 has gone, im going to miss it however the Quattro Sport is in a different league. Its so much fun on a back road and my god its pretty quick in a straight line. Ive deffinately given my self a few dead legs getting in the buckest but its all good lol.
I will be poping back most...
Thanks for the kind words, im picking it up tomorrow and im excited to say the least :w00t:. I really cant wait to get it. Ive got a round trip of just under 500 miles to get it, but it should make for an interesting drive home :racer:
Just thought I would let you guys know that im now picking up my new car on Sunday, so I will be saying bye to the 8P section. I will however be moving to the TT area as ive bought this:
AUDI TT 240 QUATTRO SPORT Stunning Limited Edition With Recaro Seat Option | Approved Car Sales | Parkway...
I know you didnt include it but i went down the APR route and havent got a bad word to say. It was a fantastic fit and looks very OEM. I fitted it myself and it really is a quality piece of work.
Just my 2p's worth, but definately worth considering :)
Yep they have been outsourcing to China, I have got all the details on it aswell lol. Like you I was astonished and rather annoyed at it seeing as its not even 2 years old. When I get my new car I definately wont be putting a Milltek on it. They may sound very nice but I really cant be bothered...
On the other hand I had a turbo back milltek on my MK3 Ibiza Cupra and had no issues. It seems that their quality levels have dropped in the recent years
Yeah, ive spoken to them but they wanted me to remove the exhaust/downpipe and pay to send it to them and they will repair it. However having the car off the road isnt really an option for me. Luckily I know a good welder who is mobile and based just round the corner lol
Funnily enough I have had the same problem, the welding from the factory is **** poor. I had mine re-welded on Sunday morning by a local welder who couldnt beleive the lack of penetration from Milltek's welding attempts
Well ive had mine in for 15-20,000 miles and never had a peep from it. I would highly recomend the clutch kit I have along with the single mass flywheel. It really is great with no major draw backs. No slippage or anything. Im running in the regions of 330 bhp and have yet to have a problem with...
I have this one:
Performance Umrüstkit: Kupplung mit Schwungrad - Sachs-Performance
I do get a little bit af flywheel chatter at idle, but to be honest its not that bad. Some people just think its a diesel lol. You can feel more from the engine in the scense that if you load the engine up in a...
Ive got the Single mass fly and race clutch from sachs on my 2.0tfsi quattro, and ive not looked back since. Ive covered around 15-20,000miles sine it being fitted
Ive had my sachs clutch and SMF on my car for about 10-15,000 miles now and its not slipping at all. Its a lovely clutch with loads of feel, very highly recomended!
