I've got a squeaky rattle coming from the seat belt height adjuster on the B pillar, anyone any ideas on how to remove the trim on the pillar. Looks like it pulls off but thought i would check first before i bust something. Cheers Jim

Wish i could help, but i'm as stuck for ideas as you. Mines been ok for the last couple of weeks but who knows for how long. There was a lad on an American site i found with the same problem but he hasn't posted back to say if he ever got it fixed. Good luck Jim

Cheers! The speedo etc is now working again for now but i'll have to try and sort it out. The speedo seems to go off first, like a bad connection then when completaly dead the fuel gauge goes mental. Would the fuel sensor affect the speedo aswell as the fuel gauge, the car seems to be running...

Hi Could anyone help me with a problem with the dash on my 99 pre facelift S4?. The fuel gauge is acting like a rev counter, moving up and down with the revs causing the "miles left per tank" reading on the display panel to do the same. Also the speedo is not working and the milage is not...

totaly accept these dashes can go wrong, just was a bit [censored] that its always been fine, went in fine and came back bust. To be fair they did say they would look at it if i took it back but it seems to be working ok for now. Out of intrest foolish3uk any idea how much a new dash would be...

Update Took the car out last night and both the speedo and fuel gauge are now working correctly!!! Anyone any ideas? Jim

Just picked up my 98 S4 after its 60k service to be told there is an intermittent fault with the fuel gauge (no problem when it went in). Sure enough drove it away and the gauge is jumping up and down all over the place. It only seems to do this when accelerating. At tickover, reving at...
