Hi guys,
My speedo seems to read about 15% low for some strange reason. I noticed this before any modifications were made, and I'm only just getting round to finally working out what the problem may be.
Has this happened to anyone else? Or does anyone know what the problem may be?
Any...
From what I remember it was a very easy job to do. The hardest part was removing the old shock from the hub assembly etc. I did mine last year and it took about 3 hours to do! Ramps would definitely make things easier! Good luck
Unfortunately, I can't say as my car was completely stock and then I did the whole lot in one hit. One minute it had 150bhp then went straight to 320bhp so I can't comment on each individual mod. From what I've heard and reading it is worth getting though. My brother (RichA3Turbo) was running...
It depends, some places quote there numbers as in total track width. Mine at the rear were 30mm (15mm per side) and 16mm (8mm per side) on the front. I just used the Eibach Pro spacers and haven't had any trouble at all. I did have to replace the bolts for longer ones though.
For my FMIC I did my own pipework etc and got my intercooler from ths performance. Think the overall cost was around £400 or so. I did things slightly different as I wanted my engine bay not to have all the pipework in so used reversed large port intake manifold. The result came out pretty good...
I have this rust problem too on my A3 1998. It's half way along the roofline on drivers side and just start on the passenger side. I will be taking to Audi sometime soon to see what they say. I've only owned the car for 18months. Should have checked this out sooner really but just getting round...
No probs.
All in good time eh. The big turbo setup is good fun, especially if the car is quite subtle on the outside. The element of surprise is quite entertaining.
Glad to hear the car is all running well since the remap.
