AMD done a leak test, although my mate is getting a smoke tester from work to see exactly where they are.
I've already done the bypass thingy - infact i've done everything I can to make it 290ish brake - we'll see what happens.
Welly, don't think i'll ever be happy lol, only reason I got it...
Does the forge kit include all the pipes under the manifold?
Must admit I'm still a little dubious as to the effects, especially with my torque figure, but we'll see once its done
Well suppose I should really be posting this with my cap in hand after my previous comments over the S3, but to cut a long story short - last Friday I went to AMD to have my car remaped to stage 2 revo. Straight away before my car was on the dyno they told me i'd be at least 20brake down because...
But I ask you this:
If you had a DB5 in the garage and a MK2 golf (G60 lol) and you were going on a first date with Jennifer Aniston (or anyone of your choice) which would you take?
Cool in that it was the first wave of hot hatches, but there lays the question, can a hot hatch be cool? Again i'd ask if you had the DB5 and a Mk1 golf which would you use to portray the image of ultracoolness?
Some good choices here.
250GT definately in and the Speedster has to stay if only because of its association to James Dean.
Murchialago - As much as this is my current favourite car, cool??? im not so sure, I think flash is probably a better description.
F355 Challenge - An undoubtable drivers...
Do they really get that hot? That must be in the verge of causing damage etc, i've never had anything over 800 and i've run up to 35psi in some of my other cars that had EGT gauges fitted
I haven't driven the skyline yet in that form, the bhp is from an identical spec as mine, mine is all built and ready to go in.
The Audi is not quick by anyones standards and as ever my complaint was mainly about the feedback the car gave
Pointless me putting the S3's in until its mapped but the skyline is:
Power at Flywheel (BHP) : 650
Weight without Driver (KG) : 1530
Power to Weight Ratio (BHP Per Ton) : 431.66
0 - 60 (Secs) : 2.940 - 100 (Secs) : 6.40
60 - 100 (Secs) : 3.46
Quarter Mile (Secs) : 11.20
Terminal Speed (MPH) ...
For me it has to be a 3 way tie:
DB5
porsche 356 speedster
Original gull wing merc
Remember, we're not talking best car, we're talking cooooolest :cool::cool:
****** hell thats typical lol, I post moaning in the post above and you actually give me advice at the same time. I appreciate it, i'm going to look at the suspension if it doesn't sell
You know what really irritates me, is that not one person has come and said "you know what Mike, you're right, what you need to do to sort the handling/etc is this........"
In fact I'm not really sure what half the replies are saying - afterall i've never compared it to other hatches, i merely...
Its got:
front mount
forge recirc with yellow spring?
milltek catback
forged pistons
CR turbos K04 hybrid with cut back blades and 360 degree bearing
N274 bypass
Revo stg 1
Ok so it needs a remap to maximise the effect of the hybrid, but lets cut to the chase, its ****!
So Bill what would you...
First of all mine is far more than just remapped and i'll tell you now it ISN'T quick, let alone very quick - there are also plenty of STD hot hatches that are quicker, let alone modded ones. I had a MKII Astra GTE with a calibra turbo engine and also an RS Turbo back in the 90's that was...
