cha1n, i had my oven temp on high and left mine in the oven for about 60 seconds, if you get your oven really hot and then turn the gas off it should still be hot enough to soften the seal and then you dont have to worry about flames etc Good luck:icon_thumright:

I think you should still be able to take pre-facelift ones apart to paint, maybe someone else can comment on that? I'm not to keen on the angel eyes round thing look, but definatley like them black etc. But I couldn't justify buying a set of lights so went for the cheap option Lol

Jason instead of paying for angel eyes just paint them like i did, really easy to do and only cost the price of a tin and half of spray paint, cheap as chips and look really good, especially at night. Cheers Swede :rock:

What you can't see it in the photo's?? it's massive Lol Corey has taken all the pics of the installation of fmic, but his laptop has gone pete tong, so he will post better pics when that is sorted. Leecs3 they will look really good on your car as you have already done your grill and fitted...

Hi guys, so i have my grille off and reasy to make it black, quick question, how did you guys prepare it before you painted it, i read somebody used plastic primer, is this the best way to do it and to what degree did you rub it down before hand. Cheers

got the car back tonight with a ****** huge intercooler fitted to it. :hubbahubba: It looks really awesome, Corey has taken loads of photos of the install, so I'll leave it for him to post all the pics, I'll take some pics tommorow so you can see it on the car.

I needed spacers due to putting the porsche caliper on with the standard avus wheels, so i am running fk 10mm front and 15mm on the back. It fills the arches really well, looks so much better and feels like it handles better, but that may just be me thinking that?

ok guys, so here is a photo gallery of taking the lights apart (well its me putting tham back together Lol) If you use Mo-s3's guide then you wont have any problems. I may have forgotten some stages but hopefully you get the idea. Cheers...

no worries dude, as sone as the paint has dried i'll start putting second light back together and do a load of photo's of how it all comes apart etc

mate it is easy to do, quite suprized myself. if you have paint and scotchbright etc, think you could do the whole thing in 4-5 hours, so an evening job, then next day just get them alligned checked etc. took me a bit longer because as i was doing it the guys on here were giving the info and...
