Ive done lots of repairs on bosch abs units. You need to scratch/roughen up the surface with a dremel before soldering and get plenty of heat on the pad. Be careful of the other thiner wires next to it. You wont do any damage to the eeprom with the heat.
Toe out will cause the front to wander or dart when driving in a straight line. A few mm of toe in is the best and reduces tyre wear.
Did you check the rear toe? It's adjustable with concentric bushings.
What do you mean clean the throttle body? The inside around the butterfly valve? I hear of people doing this all the time, I think it's a ridiculous idea. Unless it's full of carbon which it won't be. Bad idle can be caused by air leak, maf, spark plugs, dirty injectors and a few other things.
I'd like to see someone put an air temp sensor near the inlet/air filter and actually prove if the under bonnet temps go down. Why would racecar builders/designers spend so much time and money to reduce inlet air temps.
