Hi I've got a 1.8t fwd 2000 I need both driveshafts complete in decent condition and o/s/f calliper. Close to Hertfordshire as possible or if your willing to courier it is a bonus.

I've got a sticky caliper on my front drivers side but seems much much worse when reversing. Any ideas why that would be? Also is it easier to just grab one from the scrappy/eBay. I plan to do the 312mm swap at the end of the month just gathering a parts list.

Amazed this thing is still alive but hey ho. When accelerating its making an alarming werring noise. Turbo was changed around 3 months ago its been fine up til now. Still getting the normal spooling sound accompanied with a werring sound from the turbo area. Any ideas?
That's the stuff, contemplating whether or not it's worth it. Mines driving like a bucket of s*#t so I'm in a constant battle of will power to keep her going.
Such a simple job on my old PFL to fit a boost gauge but with this damn FL with air con and more gubbins in the dash what's the easiest way to run it through?
last time it tapped into the stereo can I just use the vent wires now? Baring in mind it's a smoked gauge so would I need the lights on...
It's took ages to snatch that intake pipe, the company are wan*ers and kept stopping the auction if it didn't reach at least £30. Re listed the same pipe 5 times!! Eventually got it for £36 brand new
When I put my foot down on the clutch and blip the throttle it's like a miss fire/lazy rev but not all the time maybe like 60-70% of the time. Recently changed spark plugs but no change. Could it be just a simple coil failure?
I've fitted a few to previous cars, personally love them makes motorway driving so enjoyable. Regards to the clips use a really skinny flat head screw driver and a lot of force and the metal folds up in the gap nicely.
I'd just buy another tqs and swap it all over. Maybe go for black ;) you'll be able to draw back some money from selling stuff you don't need. Pick the best bits from both cars and sell the crap that's not needed.
Yeah I can feel a whole load of coffee/fag breaks! Do you know the part number for the larger oil filter? I know it's been talked about a lot just on my phone and the search thing get on my nerves. Oh and 5w40 oil is the one to go for?
Yeah I'd planned on dropping the oil from the sump so oil change was going to happen, how long did it take from start to finish? Only ask because I only have Sunday to do it.
I've got my replacement turbo and silicone TIP now looking at changing it this weekend, any tips/advice from experience to make my life easier?
cheers jay
