    Alfa 159

If we put aside and accept the 'reliability' issues discussed I think that the thread is missing the whole point... I REALLY do agree with Mr Clarkson when he says you have to own an Alfa at somepoint. I would ask anyone to compare the Alfa V6 to a VAG unit, simply there is no comparison. VAG...

    Alfa 159

Being a VAG man for a lot of years, i was surprised how well my 147 was put together, not a squeek or rattle anywhere. My particular dealer has been very good, and they don't look at you like you've just mugged some poor old dear when you walk in the showroom... I think the prejudice against...

    New S3 is due....

I can see already where VW are going with the 2.0 TFSI. I'm firmly in the 2.0 TFSI camp but with the new VW designed dual turbo as per the new golf GT... Just look at the range. GOLF GTI 200BHP current A3 2.0 TFSI 200BHP New S3 twin turbo 280BHP New Leon detuned to 180bhp New Leon Cupra tuned...

    A3 3.2/Golf R32

new R32 is an FSI unit. Really dissapointed with it TBH, no where near as good looking as the MKIV version. I'd think I'd rather have a GTI!

    Meguiar's Scratch X

Zymol or Swissol, all the others pale in comparison, Meguiars probably 3rd

    Golf or Leon?

Having owned both Golf's and a Leon i would probably say Leon. I love the golf and have one at the moment, but if your wanting something to tide you over you can't go wrong with a leon, you'd probably be able to pick one up cheap at the mo with the new model around the corner!

    The first clean...

got to agree with steeve, just did my car with Zymol last weekend and was amazed at the results. I had been wanting to try Zymol for ages, but when i bought the golf, the previous owner had zymol's it from new, so i coudln't let the side down and had to carry on using it. Honestly, my car is...

TomTom 3 Navigator using a HP iPAQ 2210

TomTom Go is just for people wanting navigation. As a package it's good. PDA's have roughly the same size screen, so not much difference visability wise.

    Sportback with BBS LM's

like the wheels, but not sure about the spacing... Those rears seem to stick out from the arches, makes it look a bit too boy racer. Think the red looks great though on a sportback

    New A4 2.0TDI Chipped to 170 BHP

Same engine as A3, so should be able to go all the tuning routes, oettinger, AMD or current favourites appear to be superchips giving out 185bhp and being the most cost effective

    R36

I take it you mean Golf and if so, won't be an R36 but still and R32 with increased output. Due for release late 2006 i believe.
