well... after 4hrs out side with my eyes streaming from hayfever ive had to give up, yeh the handbrake was off but still couldnt budge it. I didnt wanna put too much pressure on incase i damaged the caliper or brake and couldnt use the car. Im gunna try again tomorrow if not... down the garage...

i have attempted changing the rear brakes on my 2000 plate 1.8t A3 and i can't get any further.... i have removed the wheel and took two screws out to release the caliper from the car but i can't get the pads to push back so i can get it off.... where do i need to go now???
