Thats what I was looking for. On our PUG 307 you can clearly see the end not spinning until you engage the AC then the whole thing spins. BUT on the A3 the whole thing spins all the time reardless of whether or not the AC is on? Is this the clutchless compressor or something??

The title says it all really. My eng man light is on but I'm not sure this is connected to the fuse F8 which keeps blowing. Does anyone know what the F8 fuse does? It is located in the fuse box in the engine bay. I can replace it (10amp) but as soon as I turn the ignition it blows. Car still...

my 2.0tdi A3 sport serviced approx 7 months ago (mileage 95000) has now come up with service! again and it's done 101000miles. I dont drive the car hard (too hard) so is this normal? Also should every service ALWAYS include an oil change even if the oil has done only 7k miles? Thanks.

Yes the same fuse but the car runs absolutley fine??

A few weeks ago the engine man light came on. After investigation I noticed F8 fuse blown. Replaced with 10amp but it blew immdiatley on ignition. Any ideas on the reason for this F8 fuse to keep blowing? And also is F8 fise the reason for the engine man light coming on? Thanks in advance!!
