    Anyone going to Le Mans?

Team Ding Dong are almost ready for our umpteenth year to Le Mans, and will be staying in our usual palatial campsite with its own flushing toilets....and showers, and lots of shade which came in very handy last year! Keep an eye out for us in the "new" shampoo bar from 7pm on the Sat. Not long...

Hi all, not been on for a while. Have had mine since Jan 05 & 30,000. Apart from someone hitting me up the asre on the M6 last year all great to date. Love the DSG by the way. Does a remap really make the difference?

    Remapped S3 to A3 3.2 DSG?

Nicks3, The 3.2 feels quicker. As the others have stated you get the power from the start, and pulls all the way through the revs to the red line,(even in the dsg) where as the S3 used to die around 5000 revs. Depends on what you like. I prefer instant power.

    Remapped S3 to A3 3.2 DSG?

I swapped my Revo'd S3 to the 3.2. Ok, its not an S3...., I had to pay for the xenon lights, but the S_Line is the mext best thing. If you like the turbo kick then go for a remapped 2.0 TFSI, or if you like a big grunt of a unit, and you can handle 26 mpg go for the 3.2. The next question...

    A3 3.2 vs 2. FSI vs 2.0TDi MPG?

Don't know about other 3.2 owners. My 3.2 dsg is now 5 months old, 6000 miles with about 70% on the M42. The lifetime average is 26.5 mpg which is not a million miles away from what my old S3 did. Depends if you have shares in BP.

    S3 to A3 2.0 TFSI...is it a downgrade?

Nicks3, I too got fed up waiting for the new S3 , so opted for the 3.2 S-Line. Starting with looks- the 3.2 is similar in ‘aggressive’ looks as the S3 was, particularly with the larger wheels & brake disks on the 3.2. The suspension on the 3.2 whilst sporting is not the bone crusher...
