Apart from the lack of give in the tyre walls the right tyre size could see these bang on for circumference & perhaps lighter than standard?
Better on smoother roads?
Whats the owner think of the handling now???
Those rims do blend in well...
At first I thought it looked a bit bright standing still in the sun.
On the move I reckon it'd look pretty sweet, I'd smile if I saw you pass me on a windy road. :respekt:
Thanks for the entertainment, I couldn't justify upgrading the seats on my new ride & don't plan on looking for those buckets.
At the risk of sounding well out of order would it be prudent to lock this thread??
As pointed out it could be argued it's a little off topic (in a round about way).
Thanks for the welcome! :icon_thumright:
It would appear there is plenty of support for tuning here but, at least for now, I plan to disappoint.
I enjoyed the drive in the S3 more than the 135i. The S3 feels good and knowing I can tune it if I want more will keep me happy for a while. Back...
As a n00b I'm finding the prefix system useful.
The colour coding gives me an overview as I pick out threads of interest, certainly I'm not just reading one group exclusively.
It could be just because I've got an S3 though!
Another 2 cents where it wasn't needed... :scared2:
Just thought I'd say hi all & post a pic or two as it seems to be the done thing.
It's a no option Australian spec & the only black one my new favourite dealer (1250kms from home) could get me unless I waited four months.
I think this car and I will hit it off .
