I got so fed up with it and after speaking to a few people just got the DPF internals removed. Best thing I did, car is much better to drive without it.
Thanks for the info. Is there a way to check the steering rack is causing this issue and are they expensive to replace? So you don't think it is the tripodic drive shaft end?
I think I might have a problem with the passenger side inner Tripodic drive shaft end on my 2.0 ltr TDi DSG. Basically if I reverse out of a parking space on full lock left there is a loud clunk somewhere from underneath the car. It doesn't always do it each time though! I have had all...
Replaced both bolts that you can get to up through the bottom of the wishbone and still hasn't sorted it!! Also fitted a powerflex dog bone bush which has also made no difference apart from transmit more vibration through the car!! Will be removing that later today.
At a loss to what it could...
Which of the part numbers you supplied above are for the 4 sub frame bolts? I have fitted the ECS kit today and I think it is slightly better but not totally gone so I now want to order up the remaining sub frame bolts and change them as well.
Where are the 4 sub frame bolts located that you...
The bolts in the kit are for the 2 inside bolts nearest the exhaust that need replacing. Have you replaced the rest of the subframe bolts at the same time, I couldn't see that mentioned in the TSB?
What vehicle do you have?
Thanks
I have the same problem and also came across the same TSB today, have ordered this kit below and hope it fixes it.

Sorry to jump in on the thread but have just had my MK2 RNS-E installed with SDS and wondered if anyone could point me in the right direction of trying to find a manual for the system. I have managed to find a MK1 manual but not for the MK2, does anyone have a PDF version they could email?
If I...
Just been out and checked the car and the DPF soot level was at 34% and that was after 24km since it's last regen!! I forced a regen on the DPF following the Ross-tech instructions and drove it around for 25 mins and managed to get the level back down to 11.9%. I then drove normally and...
I guess the only way forward then to stop the car feeling like a bag of crap when it decides to do it's regen is get the DPF removed. Any advice welcome regarding this? At least it doesn't sound like the EGR valve.
thanks
I did think it sounds like a regen but I never had the DPF light come on and it seems to be doing it almost every journey I make now! I travel about 60-70 miles a day which can include fast roads and built up area driving.
I am not sure whether to go down the DPF removal root of EGR...
