A contribution from over the pond in the US. Wheels are VMR 709s, 19x8.5 ET45 w/235/40/19 rubber and seem to be a replica of Audi Titanium edition wheels. I've since moved on to Audi OEM CHs so will post up pics shortly of those.
Seeing all these facelifted DRL headlamps makes me wish someone would come out with a PROPERLY MANUFACTURED set for those of us with older A3s to purchase. They look sexy! :slap:
You're welcome! Be careful pulling the old grill from the bumper. Make sure you have enough flathead screwdrivers (about 2-3) and a mate to help you take that off.
Looks like an epic build. Great pics and looking sharp! Are you going to do more than the body transformation, such as the S3 K04 upgrade, etc?

They DO look like the Monzas! I got them from a local American company (VMR Wheels, the 709s).
I was just giving you guys a friendly hard time. I am partial to GTIs as well but love my A3. :racer:

Anyhow, I just put on 19x8.5 ET45 wheels with 235/35/19's and they fit very flush with the sides now. The problem is that on abnormal aberrations in the road, they will rub. I'm sure lower profile tires (like the 215s...
Try the DIY @ 4titude. We did this a while back when we did a group buy on the new LED tails and installed them all based on the DIY. Works like a charm!
