This morning it took approx 4 or 5 seconds to start. Really unsure where to start looking for the problem. Battery appears slow. Any help or advice would be much appreciated :-)

Thanks for the info mate, much appreciated. I am just unsure if these engines are slow turning in general? Does anyone else have the same model and is your starter motor quick to fire up the engine? Cheers.

Hi all Hopefully someone may be able to help/advise. My 06 A3 2.0T has recently been turning over very slowly now the cold mornings are here, it almost feels as if it may not even start, for the first 2 or 3 seconds it is really slow. I wondered if this is normal as a slow turnover for these...

Thanks, but I love the s-tronic but my budget wouldn't stretch to a 2.0 T FSi Quattro with s-tronic as 'audicruiser' said it was 2008 when this came out, mine is an 06 plate FWD.

I'm new to this forum and for me when I came to look for my newer Audi I wanted Quattro but also wanted the S-tronic box ( which I believed they do on the later models and also on the 3.2 lump ). So I was left trying to decide whether to go for the 2.0T FSi Manual Quattro or the 2.0T FSi DSG...

Apparantly the DSG oil and filter need replacing every 40k, this has done 80k and never ticked as done in the service book. That's why i'm concerned.

Thanks mate, i've just realised how to do it, not very technical minded!! Just had cambelt full kit and water pump replaced yesterday, peace of mind, apparantly it was the original on and although covered 80k miles they said it didn't look to be too bad. Waiting now to have the DSG oil and...
