Spuddie this must be one late reply, hope your still around but I have not been able to get near a pc for a while.......... Cant quite work out the picture, are you able to swap the nut and bolt, ie push the bolt through first, so the nut is done from above. Do you know the thread size?

    Bye Bye

"Lack self control to have a dig at these members" Take a vacation mate, this is not the houses of parliment, what is there to get so ate up about. I read your input into the tdi vs fsi debate, your first comment was excellent, until challenged, when in response to a members calculated argument...

    Road Race: 2.0FSI v 2.0TDI

'ere 'ere Leman. I was enjoying this thread, apart from the odd bit of sniping, it was turning into a good debate. I found it strange that people would put finger to keyboard in an effort to end the thread, surely they are just perpetuating it, rather than letting it die. IMO a debate on bhp vs...

    Pro's & Con's For Leasing of cars

your right tdi, also if you are leasing throught your company as its catIV emmisions it only attracts 15% company car tax, which is the lowest % you can pay. Theres not a lot of other cars out there with good performance in the 15% bracket.

    Pro's & Con's For Leasing of cars

if you are vat registered there is an elemant of unrecoverable vat that you cannot get back. The other thing to be wary off is that the lease company will recover the total cost of any extras over the length of the lease, so for ease of maths £1800.00 worth of extras on a car you are leasing for...

    206 GTI

I'll have a go at that, its almost on the "full load pressures" which is how I set a few of me previous cars, but have not tried it with this one. I did try to check the pressures the other day. I bought some of the metal dust caps (some bastad, nicked the rear 2 after a week) and cant get the...

    7 hours later.........

gutted for you Mark, know how you feel, you have just got to imagine that the car is well protected under whatever is sitting on it now, and it makes it (almost ) all worthwhile. Did you buy the swissol direct from them? PS, Like the wheels

    Top Gear reminder tonight

agree marctwo, and love to see VBH exited, better than the little fella on TG shouting " I am a driving god". As for drifting, I know it takes a lot of control (and I admire drivers with that amount of control) but it dont win races. Going round a bend sideways counts for FA if your last.

    Questions and delivery miles

Coldsteel, You dont say which car you are expecting. I refused the servicing as they said it had (2.0 TDi Sport) up to 25K service intervals, thought that was not too bad and I could pay for the service as they would only be every 18 months for me (if I put the money away monthly they would be...

    Top Gear reminder tonight

I did think that Stiggy was going to take JC but he seemed to back off. JC's quite a good driver but you have to have a fair amount of trust in your competitor when trying to overtake on a track, maybe Stig just thought better of it. Vicki BH now were talking, she could take me for a spin anytime

Sunroof "Comfort Position" an after thought???

Following on from the "getting wet when windows open" post. Another poor peice of design has to be the sunroof unless its just me. When driving in town I cant have the sunroof open fully as the buffeting from the air trying to get in and out at the same time pops my ear drums, it does stop...

    Middle Lane!?

"oh we few!" is there something about Audi's that make us so perfect??? its a shame I dont encounter any like minded drivers on the A13 of an evening, we could go round the middle lane dickheads in convoy..... I would like to give all you undertakers a bit of advice, something of a saftey...
