I have a 170tdi 59plate remapped, Don't know what it's running but hell it's quick. I'd put it up against most hot hatches (mid range). 1st and 2nd can tend to be unuseable but 3rd put's some good power down. Definately worth the mod, as for fuel economy I have noticed a difference for sure...
