I have also been working on this with someone in the Netherlands. This all started with the Wavetrac LSD modded into the rear diff housing for the Haldex 4 and 5.
We have logged several cars. VW Golf 7R, Skoda Superb 280 (same as 7R) and the Audi RS3...
There have been other reporting issues like you are describing.
The outcome was the angel gear/transfer box being the problem.
The ring gear is pressed on to the out going shaft to the back to the rear diff (Haldex)
This ring gear has detached it self from the shaft and now is spinning when...
For full stage 1 ECU sw the stock TCU sw will not hold at all...
Maybe a soft stage 1 tune will work but then what's the point of tuning.
Also remember. A proper TCU tune is not raising only clutch pressure and torque limiter.
Also the driving dynamics is change to suit the new power and torque...

I have the first option. And gives most customized settings via the phone/app. No extra visibil display or nobs.

A friend of mine have this combo on his TTRS 2018.
It works perfectly. This was done before APR had the TCU tune.
Car works and goes great and is track used with no problems.
I have tested the APR TCU and TVS TCU on my 7R.
TVS gives you good and smooth gear changes +++

I have the 034 Motorsports you are referring to. I also have the ClubSport S swivels and bearing completed with the SuperPro LCA and bushing. This is a great combo.
But at -3 degrees of negative camber does not help with tire wear though...
Another option for more negative camber up front...
Rear has plenty of camber adjustment.
-2 degrees are easily achieved. [emoji4]
For the front you need new parts like SuperPro LCA in alloy +++
You can go with only new top monts too...
