i think i have this same problem, however i have replaved the tensioner and it sounds worse!!! however i would describe the sound as real loud vibration and almost like smacking on plastic and you can feel the vibrations at idle and when drivig through the steering wheel??? any ideas???

any more ideas?

just to update you all, when i go to change gear( put the clutch pedal down u hear a air rushing sound. like air escaping. any other ideas on this, thanks ben :blackrs4::wtf:

prawn thats a great help, yeah it really is bizarre, where did u get your sensor from, any ideas on a price. Also whe its making thart noise if u try putting your foot on the brake it feels like its vibrating on your foot (if you know what i mean) and the pedal does ot depress untill the noise...

we thought it was the diff too but like i said we have changed the gearbox and we still have the same problem. i havent changed the calliper tho, could this be the issue?
