I have exactly the same problem, and I also have leather seats. It took me a while to figure it out as I thought it was the seat its self that was creaking. I went back to the dealer with it twice who said they couldn't find a problem, but the creak was getting worse. It was driving me mad...

Thanks Scotty, I have only had the car a week and I could have sworn it displayed the checks each time I started it. I must be going mad !!!!

When I first got my 1.9 TDi Sport I am sure that when switching on the ignition the DIS showed all the checks, But now it comes up OK straight away. Am I wrong?
