    Had the same problem myself,very annoying waking everyone up at 3am,did a search on here and found the problem,water leaks in from wiper motor into the boot switch,makin the alarm think someones messin with the boot,hence alarm goin off all the time,i went to audi and got, 1x boot latch...

    It looks like the rocker switch maybe jammed further along the runner,nightmare..........compared it with drivers side and that rocker is right at the back of the runner.

    Right got a problem with my passenger seat,i've got a 3dr A3,and the seat dont seem to want to go forward to allow passengers in the back,drivers seat works fine,but the passenger wont slide forward,the seat folds forward butafter that it seems stuck,any help would be greatly appricated.....

    Listen m8 take my advice and,WAIT till 59 plate your car will be more valuable come trade in/sell time,i waited 2 months for my VW golf gti edition 30 to be built in Wolfsburg,then waited another 3 weeks so it was a 08 plate instead of 57,trust me no damage will occur they have very secure...
