it was only at idle just wanted it to fill up the filter...im going to put another litre in tomorrow and see if anything appears...the car hasnt moved since...dont want it dying on me....always sods law that your car holds more oil than what comes in the bottle

im not sure i have a3 1.8t i just thought after putting 3 litres in there would be something on the dipstick unless its very close tolerances that it measures...i was just being cautious proper confused me haha

thanks ill try the disconnecting thing some time in the week...ive checked all my spark plugs and there all covered in carbon so it may even be that creating a poor spark..hoping its a cheap fix :)

it only seemed to misfire before the turbo kicked in..it struggled to pull off at low revs stuttered abit then was ok once turbo was in..still stutters abit though theres no blue smoke as far as i can tell ive only seen black.. stupid question lol to get to the spark plugs i take it ill have...

i know this will sound stupid but wher abouts is the fuel filter located??? is it near the coolant tank...mines only an a3 not s3?

i have an a3 1.8t AGU and occasionaly when i come to start my car she turns over but doesnt fire into life..she eventually does start after 10 - 15 seconds or so with a puff of smoke for exhaust and then she idles weirdly for a little bit and then she runs fine and sometimes starts first time...

i have a 1.8t with the engine code AGU. so im guessing thats the k03 turbo?? i want to get more power out of the car. would i have to change much if i got a k03s turbo and how much more power would that give me. cause i got told if i wanted a k04 id have to change lots of parts. thanx :)
