@mitch yeah patience is a virtue I had to have this time rather than choice... but I am glad I waited...
@Turkster I wish man... that would be nice... its a 1.9 with a remap... planning on buying an A5 next year... that will be a 2.7 ;)
Only realized the other day that I never posted any pictures of my a4 on here... anyway bought it as a standard SE as it came up at a really good price and I always wanted to add a few extra bits to it...
front before -
front after - mods include s-line valance, blackout grilles and...
Ive literally just stuck mine on as well... looks great...
well I think it does anyway...
my procedure was to sand down the chrome just lightly to allow primer to stick... then paint over that with gloss black... followed by a few coats of clear... 1200 grit paper should be enough... maybe...
Thats not a bad idea Simon... I wouldnt have thought of that... hence why I put up the thread ;) ... might look a bit tidier than the cable ties... cheers man

Alright lads,
just wondering how people have secured their s-line bumper grilles??
I've got mine in the post today for a conversion that will be happening this week and at a well over â¬150 for all 3 grilles I have heard some horror stories about grilles being stolen from cars etc and do...
they look the business anyway... I managed to pick up an exhaust from a 2.0T B7 A4 so will be putting that it... was quoted a price for a similar job to yours but it was more than I was willing to pay...
looks good... mine is going into the garage next week to get this done also... front and rear s-line valances and twin exit exhaust... cant wait... was thinking about going for bigger exhaust trim also... but seeing yours (which will be the same as mine when its done) I think ill leave it like...
ok... so I got a tip from someone else today... this technique worked very easily for me...
when you have the head rests out... push the seat towards the back of the car with your knee (just bellow the guide) and then just lift up with your fingers... they should pop out with a bit of force...
Said I would bump this thread instead of creating another one...
Im struggling with the step in Bold above... removal of the headrest guides... any tips on how to get them out??
