Ok I took a few pictures there. Here is the cubby hole in the boot and a (blurred) close up of the red connector. Then I took out the HU and took a few pictures: With a few more close ups, hopefully it shows something useful? Does this give any clues?

I'll try to get a few pictures tomorrow night and post them up. There was a red connector like your picture in the cubby hole enclosure in the boot. And I'll pull the HU out and see what I can see stuffed down the back. Cheers!
