I have the RS3 staggered setup Rotors with 245x35x19 all round - the wider rims on the rear as I never got around to seeing if the the wider (8.5) rims fit on the front.

Yes this is correct and will void a warranty if you don't use RO2's. To get around it you can use 245's all round in a "square" setup. I've done this with my OEM RS3 Rotors which are 8J and 8.5J.
Sounds like the level sensor which is located in the rear suspension area is kaput. You can try and re calibrate using VCDS and there is a procedure for doing this using module 55 Headlight Range. Google the procedure. If this doesn't fix it you'll probably have to replace the sensor and re -...

Yes, connectors are the same however additional wiring is needed to go to a second level sensor (G78) (which also needs to be added) but this is not difficult. I have the wiring diagrams for with and without Matrix. Difficulty is updating the firmware in module 55 using VCP and adding data sets...
