hello i need a new k03s for my car which is a 1999 a3 1.8t. Can anyone tell me if a turbo from a seat ibiza fr 1.8t is a k03s that would fit my car, from the pic ive seen it looks right, it has the silencer. The vag number is 06A145713E.

well it has, the maf wasnt covered but it was definatly contaminated, you can see its comeing in from the breather, maybe i could get a catch tank instead of sending it back through the turbo

hello i posted earlier about a boost issue, i think ive found the problem, i took the maf off and cleaned it with injector cleaner and reset the ecu. this cured the problem car goes like stink now. i would look at the track rod end, get someone to rock your steering and feel the ball joint to see if there is play in it

just a quick update, i unpluged maf sensor and car runs crap under normal driving but it seems to cure boost problem, is the maf fault as its pretty new or could it still be something else

hello i have a related problem i have a k03s with fmic full zaust forge dv and custom code phase 2 and it is only hitting 16 psi of boost, it does hold at that boost till about 5500 rpm then starts to tail off but never gets any higher, if you unplug the maf (which is brand new oem) it hits 19...

can you all tell me what boost levels you run on k03s conversions on 1.8t. Can you tell me what you spike at what you hold and to what revs you hold it to, because some people say they are holding 18 psi to redline and i think thats impossible on a k03s.
