I've got the same car + age but a Quattro no problems with power loss yet, only thing I've had problems with is the gas pressure sensor I'm on my second now in 7/8 months. Took two + bit weeks to sort this time and in the end they blamed a software update never done to the sensor !!

Ouch I have been lucky the deer i got was just a young one not a huge thing I'm just waiting for a phone call from the garage to see how much damage has been caused hope there's no damage to the under part of the car

if it was a red one your ok just them grey ones you wanna run down + then amount of damage is far far less then the Deer that left it's mark on the front end

Yea whats the story with this ? had mine for 2 months nearly! is it something that is waiting to happen I'm already cheesed off with my car it's been back to te dealer 4 time's to try sort the air con!! don't tell me I'm going to have to go back again :'(

Just been reading the manual and it does say that IF the econ is still on over 5oC then you may have a fault with the air con well its 1oC up here so it'll wait and see just very noticed this with my 02 maybe it a update change they've made !! + the two ronnies sketch is good :)

to the above no econ is on and so is auto but adjust the fan and auto is off with econ is still there :s

Ive had mine a week now I got a S-line quattro (170) only got 600 miles on it so far so not really pushed it but the drive is loads better my last car was a 140 sport 02 reg and i thought that was good this blows it out of the water. so much smoother and quieter :)

Mine 'sometimes' fixed it's self after a while I'd turn over the engine and it would stop but after a couple of days that stopped working 'mind of it's self'

I've just ordered an 2.0Tdi 170 quattro s-line and when i asked the question of if it was possible to add the silver mirrors that are on the s3 etc. i was told no!! and that was from two different dealer's both saying that it was not possible! i find that hard to believe as i'm having to wait...
