I currently have drilled and grooved discs (supplied by Audi), braided lines and running EBC Red Stuff. I have always found Ferodo DS2500s to be excellent in the past and would rate the red stuff as good as those. I now need new pads fairly soon, and a mate works for Listers so can get the...
Agree with all that's been said, all I would add is that, standard, most B6/B7 S4s are puting out more like 300-320 bhp.
Exhaust, filter/induction and a good remap will get you 350+ if it's a good engine.
Consider that most standard B7 RS4s only produce anywhere between 350 and 400 Bhp, far...
I sometimes get this..........when I'm in reverse :tocktock:
Solution, change to forward gear ;)
Sorry couldn't resist, welcome, good luck with solving - dare say its the switch.
Get Hancooks - they are better - in fact they are one of the best performing premium tyres, and generally cheaper than other top brands.

I got 4 for my S4 last month for £460 fitted - as opposed to nearly £700 for Contis...
Don't know if this helps, I had a similar issue, but seatbelt wouldn't pull out causing issues with seat. My problem and solution are detailed here:http://www.audi-sport.net/vb/a4-a4-cabriolet-s4-forum-b6-chassis/147236-inertia-seatbelt-stuck-audi-s4.html
The stuff about taking the seatbelt out...
I generally get 300 to a tank, have got over that and under, depends on the sort of driving I do. That last tank was over 300. That one journey was around 60 miles. I often stick it on cruise on the motorway at around 65, as traffic in the morning is around that, but obviously there's traffic...
My usual run from Cov to Bedford today, helped a little by 10 miles of slowish traffic on M1, and not caught up by too much rush hour either side, oh and the oodles of torque AMD gave me:
Do I get a prize? :applaus:
The Milltek was supplied and fitted by Awesome Gti, closely followed by remap at AMD Essex. I understand they are one of the best to remap, they map it on the RR.
I was thinking this today. Had a play over 30 odd miles with a B5 RS4. They are classic cars, but there was virtually nothing in it in terms of speed - mine is running 350+ - milltek, AMD remap, filter - his was standard - running 380 i guess if still pushing out that power.
As said above...
Hello mate, yes I did thanks to your help - much appreciated.
Once I had got the seatbelt base out by undoing the bolt (which was very tricky) I could move the seat back - once there the seatbelt retracts so it sounds like your diagnosis was correct - the seatbelt will only retract properly...
Thanks for that. I have located the bolt that holds the bottom end of the seatbelt, under the seat. It is tricky to get to and to get an angle so the socket gets some purchase. is it definately a 17mm? Is there any way to remove the bottom section of the seat?
Just spent half an hour...
My rear middle seatbelt is stuck on my S4. I had to flat the seats down to get a big TV in, the inertia seatbelt in the middle retracted and won't now release, meaning my rear seat won't close back up leaving my boot exposed!
I can't seem to access the inertia reel which is within the...
Seems a daft question but..
Not my car but my mum's. She has an A8 (would post on that forum but seems a bit dead...) and asked me to sell it for her. As far as I know its not a quattro, it's MY2005, 3.0 V6 petrol (I don't think they did that as a quattro), but it does have a quattro badge on...
