Yes, I mean the S5 rotor alloys. I know they fit, but wondered if I just put them on the rear, would it cause any issues as it’s a Quattro? Feel like they poke out a bit too far on the front?

Hi, I have an a4 3.0 tdi stronic Quattro. I fancy putting s5 rotors on it, but not sure I want that extra poke on the front. Would I do any damage by fitting s5 rotors on the rear only? 9J et33. Thoughts?

Dpf and cat remain, just removal of the 2 back boxes is what I’m looking to bypass.

Ok fair enough, I don’t want to mess with dpf’s and cats as they are MOT failures. Seen a few videos with just a straight pipe and they seem to show a noise increase?

Hey, I fancy fitting an exhaust valve to My 2014 3.0tdi just to see if I can get a little more noise from it. I’m thinking of adding it before the exhaust splits into 2, so I assume on the pipe that leaves the CAT… anyone know what size that is? matt

@Vappy - I’m having the DMF replaced (dual mass flywheel) while the gearbox is out, not the DPF. @kev1973 £4K! Wow! My local vw audi specialist is an ex Bristol Audi technician and has done the job a few times. Lots of garages wouldn’t even touch it! Tensioners and chain kit is around £900 then...

thanks for the reply. Warranty company have agreed the claim but I only have a limit of £1,000. Total price is £1820 plus I’m going to have the DMF replaced at the same time along with anything else the garage thinks could be done while the engine and gearbox is out!
