I have recently sold my A3 and have a few bits on eBay if anyone would like to look.

I actually bought a small clip the holds the actuator arm. I heard that they can rattle and Audi supplied the part. On some cars the rattle goes away with clip fitted but on some not so. A ****** to fit though.
I have very similar to this. Worked out it was something to do with the turbo. Thought the actuator arm. Now think it's the small flap inside/on the turbo. Can't think what it's called but have seen it described on Google.
Had to change my indicator stalk when this happened to my A3. Was thinking it was this or the hazard switch but after searching the web it looked more likely to be the stalk. This sorted it.
I put one on mine from underneath. Removed a small cream coloured plastic heatshield and from there looking directly up you could see the actuator bar etc. Found a good guide online which helped. My rattle problem stayed though so good job it didnt cost too much to do.
Gez hi,
I was talking to AMD in Thurrock today re fitting Eibach sportlines to my A3 s-line so am wondering why you are looking at the pro kit and not the sportlines which would make it even lower? Would go down 30mm on front and little less on rear they said.
Danny hi,
Last year I popped round to yours and you fitted a FBMFSW to my Audi A3 2007 s-line.
Looks like I may have to replace the indicator stalk now due to an odd problem with the lights indicating one way then the other. Dont think its the relay.
Anyways how much would you charge to supply...
Hi all,
As title really - is it a fairly easy job to change the temperature sensor on the right hand side of the engine block? Have done research and got a price of £42 for parts from Audi and was hoping the fitting may be doable by a non mechanic like myself.
Thanks.
I have previously wrapped the thin silver trim line on the steering wheel. Looked good, was very easy but was advised it may hinder the airbag working as it should. Have since changed the wheel.
Recently sprayed my front and back door trim red and also the grab handles to match red exterior...
I wrapped mine about 18 months ago in glossy black (no pics sorry). Came out really well at the time and I hadn't done it before but they do scratch quite easily. Reckon maybe have redo after every couple off years.
Is everyone on the list going on the rolling road? Or are some just going to enjoy the day and admire the collection of cars/mods?
AMD are 20 mins away from me and seems a shame to miss such a gathering but don't really fancy putting my fairly standard A3 on the rollers.

Having fitted the resonated cat back it was too quiet and not far off OEM. Changing the middle res box to through pipe (non res) made a good difference. Louder with more burble. I now am happy. Selling the resonated centre box seems like a mission though. Thought it would have been easier to be...
Jaysond -you could go for the non res version and if you decide it is too loud then you could buy the res box seperately to quieten it down. I recently fitted the res version but found it too quiet. Then went non res so now have the res box section for sale. 2007 A3. Just a thought.
