Cheers for that Keith. I've been quoted £180 to do the rear windows, but asked him for a cash deal, and he came back with £160.00 He does it in a work shop in a town near me (shrewsbury) http://www.super-finish.net/index.php So I guess that is a good cost.

Thanks for that peeps, you lot have really helped. I've always used a friend of mine to do the servicing on my old ****** 307 :wtf: and I was a little unsure of what to do with my a3. I guess I'll ring up Audi and get a few prices to see what the score is. Also, I like the idea of going around...

It's been years since I chaved up a car, but I'm after a bit of advice about tinting the rear windows of my as sportback. Just need to know what to look out for, are there cheapo crap jobbies and how much (roughly) would I be looking to pay for the job? Any help would be great. :sex:

TBH, I know the legality of these plates and yes you did help me, I'd rather (now I have seen what they look like) that a mod deletes this thread as I can't belive how some people behave. ***, they are only number plates and if the owner wants to get a fine/ telling off then I'm sure they know...

Sorry to have caused all this *****, but have you got a pic with them on? I don't want to go German really, as I can't be bothered to change them over when an mot is due or the police pull me over ( far to old for that!)
