About £1700 inc vat for the pair. Is the guy right that they are infact Garretts? I'm not actually sure who built the OEM k04's. Thanks for your help.

Looking at upgrading my B5 S4 with K04'S. Have got a good price from PrestigeEngine.co.uk, has anyone used them? Also, they said.. and I quote "The RS 4 turbos we supply are genuine Garrett manufacture as supplied to Audi original equipment..". Any ideas? :hi:

I found Elephant (part of Admiral group) very reasonable (if you want to keep things stock). I'm only 21, 3 years driving, 1 years NCB and I'm paying 1k fully comp.

Yeah thats a fair point, might have to consider a k04 upgrade etc to make it worth my while, wouldnt be able to stand paying 1k to take the engine out only to put a new manifold on :rolleyes:

I'm not sure how complex of a job it is to lift one of these, or if it's just labour intensive.. if it's complex then I'd rather pay MRC or someone to do it properly, but if not I'd want to find someone a bit cheaper (ideally not VAT registered)!!

Anyone know a good garage with cheap labour rate that can do an engine lift on my s4? I live in the south east but can travel for a good place!

Well the tensioner gasket is leaking for sure, but I didnt think it would cause this sound. Cam lobes have been checked (well, what you can see through the filler cap anyway) and car has been vag-com'd and the engine seems to be firing fine.
