I think you would need to take the lining of the roof mate, then drill down from the roof to the inside in order to get the placement correct. I took my top part of the lining out in order to put my GPS antenna for my RNS-E onto the roof inside the interior light section and it wasnt to bad...

I would take it to the orignal owners garage as the garage would of had past history on the fault if he'd taken it in for tests.(whihch I bet he would of) Check you books to see who serviced it locally and I bet thats the garage he would have taken it to.. If he said it didnt have the fault but...

I think this can be turned of via either the DIS or VAG can't it? I know I have just made mine one click and its open via DIS which usually took one click to open drivers two for passenger and three for boot!. It is a pain!

You cant get track names on the Ipod however you can with the SD card slots and c.ds. I think you should have a setting in setup menu for showing track names from C.D.
