NHN! Thanks for the detailed explanation. I shall follow your instructions closely,..But I think the saga still continues,...
I have taken 4 pictures finally of the spoiler. And as you can see, the place where the 2 screws need to go, are protruding out. This is preventing it from fitting...
KHUFU, the answer therefore to your question is yes, i am referring to the high level brake light. And I always assumed that that piece would come off. But what you say changes everything!
And if it is correct, it means that i need to make two large holes direcly into it to fit the new spoiler...

(sorry i tried to get the pics to appear here but it didnt work. dont remember how to do that. thus please visit the link)
well i have the standard A3 roof spoiler and i want to fit the S3 spoiler which is visibly larger.

Hi! I am trying to fit a new S3 roof spoiler and its proving more difficult than I had hoped.

Does anyone have pics of the removal process...

yes i know about the issue that the exhaust is slightly shifted so I will have to cut a bit. So the only remaining qs is whether I need to buy the whole remaining part of the back bumper.
right! ok. then cutting is what i am going to have to do!! Thanks guys!
While we are at it,.. i have then 2 other questions,..
1. I bought also the rear S3 bumper - the under grey part only. I thought i had read somewhere that it would simply fit on my car but now i am having doubts. Will it...
ok this would make sense. OK so then i need to know what exactly on the crash bar i need to cut. Has anyone on this forum taken pictures of what to cut? I have been searching the last 2hrs with no luck.
Hi!
I just spent the day in my garadge fitting on a new S3 front bumper + Black grill only my wife's Audi (3 door, 2.0 tdi quattro). Everything went fine except for the last fit where the bumper meets the side fenders just under the or next to the front lights. I tried for hours but could get...
