Guys, I've just bought a black optics grille to put onto my facelift A3. It came with a S3 badge on it (pn 8P0 853 736 A). Does anyone have the part number for the S-Line badge so I can change it out.

Looks like I might have spoken to soon. With the CH/LH lights enabled via VCDS but turned off in the DIS the headlights are now permanently on when the switch is set to DRL. Sidelight 'icon' on the switch is lit and the interior eqpt lit as it would be if you had the switch on side or...

Jumping in here a bit..... As I already have a MFSW will I need any other parts to change it to a flat bottomed one? Or should it just be a straight swop? Cheers

Certainly is. Was surprised how easy it was to be honest, given the amount of issues people seem to be having.....

Managed to get this working tonight...... literally just had to check the CH/LH boxes in byte 0 in adaptation and all was good. Now appears in the DIS and can turn off CH in there as well by just changing the duration to zero seconds (LH is either on or off).

Anyone know if these part numbers will fit an 08 facelift 8P3 A3 S-Line? I like the 'honeycomb' look! Bit steep at £42 each though!! :ninja:

Apologies for resurrecting an old thread. Did the ashtray delete today only issue was I couldn't get the HVAC out. With a spot of patience and long enough socket extensions you can reach the 8mm bolts at the front of the grab handles so therefore it is possible to complete this job without...

Hi All, Im after an opinion from the forum. Lava Grey car..... do I put an all black S3 Optics Grille on or leave it with the stock grey with chrome trim? I like the look of the optics grille, but unsure of if it'll suit the dark grey? Cheers

It sounds like I had the same problem. Turned out to be a split crank case breather. 5 mins for a garage to change.
