Does my B7 have hallogen headlights or Bi-xenon headlights

Also, if you have a seperate DRL button next to your light switch, then pretty sure it will have Xenons.

    A4 cab slight leaking roof

I had this happen once when driving through a good-and-proper Perth thunderstorm! I was a bit worried, but it has never happened since. I think the seal must have made poor contact when closing the roof before the rain, and seemed to sort itself next time I opened and closed the roof.

    Anyone broke their armrest?

I just leave it! It doesn't latch now, but I have nothing in it anyway, and never have the need to lift it up! Seems a few of us have the same problem though, not a great design then really!

Removing Aluminium Windscreen Surround (B7 Cab)

Could anyone point me in the direction of where I can find instructions on how to remove and replace the brushed aluminium windscreen surround (A-pillars and header) on a B7 Cabrio? I had my windscreen replaced by Autoglass shortly before exporting the car with me to Australia, but they didn't...

    B7 cabrio S-Line Grill

I think the standard headlights really soften the front too. I have the S-Line bumper/grille on my A4 cab, but I also have the OEM Xenons. You may want to consider fitting those (although it is a big job), or seeing if there are any aftermarket projector-style headlights, as I really think they...

    B7 cabrio S-Line Grill

So one error then... I stand corrected, the DTM grille is in fact the small one. I always thought they didn't look quite right at the front! Easy mistake, as I've never actually seen a DTM in the flesh over here! However, the fact remains that the S-Line grille will not fit the standard bumper.

    B7 cabrio S-Line Grill

The definitive answer is no, unfortunately it will not fit. The S-Line grille is a couple of inches deeper (vertically) than the standard grille, therefore the bumper requires a larger aperture. Only the S-Line, DTM, S4 and RS4 bumpers have the larger aperture. If you want to fit the larger...

    Modulite DRLs ?

It'll be the same as mine - last of the B7 cabrios. His sig says "S-Line Special Edition", which is the car I have, but I think his might actually be the "S-Line Final Edition" as his 18" RS4-style alloys are black, and he has RNS-E (both standard). Either way, these won't fit because not only...

Post pics of your B7 A4/S4!

As some of you may recall, I moved to Perth in Australia last April, and brought my A4 Cabrio over from the UK with me. With a new country, new house, new job and even a new baby, it has taken a while before I got round to taking any photos! However, I took some over the past couple of weeks and...

    A4 Cab..small mark on roof

I have a mark in exactly the same place on my 08 cabrio. I put my roof up and down all the time, and have rub marks in several places. It seems to happen to all the A4's afer a while. I guess making sure the roof is clean and perfectly dry before putting it down will help, but I'm not going to...

    Daytime Running Lights

I don't think I can post a link to another forum on here, so I've sent you a PM with an excellent guide to this. Cheers Paul

What is the gas used in the A/C system?

My A4 cabrio is currently on its way from the UK to join me in Australia. Part of the import process involves identification of the gas used in the system. My car is a 2008 B7 cabrio, and Audi UK have advised that the system is CFC-free, but does anyone know what the actual gas used is? Thanks...

    Milltek Doesn't look right

I had the same problem on my B7 Cabrio when I had the Milltek fitted. They stuck out about 1" more than ideal, so basically I cut 1" off each of the tailpipe finishers. You also will have to extend the slots (when you look there are 4 slots on each tailpipe finisher where they connect to the...

Streets of San Francisco (2005 Audi S4 Avant)

I've recently moved from Ainsdale, Southport (just north of Liverpool) to Perth in Western Australia. My A4 Cabrio is in a container being shipped over here. I just cannot wait until it arrives, and I'll be sure to post plenty of pictures when it does!

NEXT MOD FOR ME- HELP NEEDED

The S4 OEM back boxes won't fit. This is because on the B7 (and B6 for that matter) the rear boxes (including yours, the S4 and any other engine size) include a connecting pipe to the centre section. These connecting pipes (a couple of feet long at least) are shaped and routed differently on the...

QUICK QUESTION - AUDI RS6 19" ALLOYS - tyre size

I have those 19" R8 (not the V10 version) pictured above on my A4 cab. However, I've had them painted as I didn't like the polished faces. 35mm offset.

    Traffic Light Camera!

There is no "legal fix". If you go through a red traffic light (and this means the rear wheels of the car pass the stop line after the light has turned red), then you are subject to prosecution. I do have an element of sympathy - if you are approaching a set of traffic lights on a de-restricted...

COMING SOON - FITTING GUIDE HIDS AND LEDS / SMD's on the B7

Keep an eye on them, and what they are touching. These resistors will get EXTREMELY hot, and you wouldn't want them touching any part of your plastic light housing or wiring if you can help it. Great review though - this thread is answering lots of the questions many of us have!

    What spec is this please?

The S-Line would have an "S-Line" badge on the side mouldings just ahead of the rear wheel, so this is almost certainly an SE. There is no S-Line badgine in the interior (seals or steering wheel) either, and the ride height certainly says SE to me. Also, the S-Line normally has an "S-Line"...
