The scraping noise you hear is probly the bit of plastic at the bottom on the front wheel arches, (like mini mud flaps at the other side of the wheel) three of the clips have probly came away and its hanging down, i had it when i brought mine, and noticed it when i was cleaning my wheels...

i have always thought audi discontinued the 2.0 fsi engine in favour for the 2.0tfsi in the a3 in early 2005? so a 2006 one is definately a ringer! unless i'm wrong...lol

I to would like to know if there is anything that can solve this problem as i have exactly the same car (2.0 fsi on a 04 plate) but i do not have vag com so do not know if the occurring faults are the same. was considering changing coilpacks as well as spark plugs as i know these can sometimes...
