From my investigations into the Dension Gateways, that's what you're supposed to have. Don't think the radio displays are capable of putting up the track info.
The AUDI Ireland guy was absolutely no help whatsoever, "I'm the VAG customer service head and if I've not heard about a problem, it doesn't exist" blah blah blah. Called AUDI UK then and they at least logged my concern in case it happens to fail.
Hey Jon. Everyone that I talk to tells me that I should change both. I cant understand how Audi can charge so much for the parts. I've currently lined up an LuK clutch kit and flywheel for about 500euro. Aparently LuK are an OEM supplier to Audi?

Need some advice. I've had a quote from the dealership to replace the clutch and they've gotten back to me with 860 and 1450 if the flywheel's gone. Of this 450 is going on labour.
Should I look elsewhere?

I bought my A4 2.0tdi S-Line 140 with 33k miles on the clock about a year ago. Since then I've done about the same miles ad I've put about 2 litres also.

My dad is a fitter by trade so I've never questioned him but he always run an engine for a few seconds after draining the oil with the oil sump plug removed so as to drain any oil from around the engine. Anyone else do this? I've done it...
They should be heated already mate. No other reason for them to be plugged in electrically if the existing ones arent heated. That's my understanding anyway.

cheers boys. I've got my emissions light on at the moment so need to get that looked at. Plan is to get them to code it then should it not work right out of the bag. Got all the necessary bits for the tidy sum of 70 on ebay.:icon_thumright:

I've gone through all the cruise control threads but just wondered if anyone has installed the control stalk and not need to re-code? I did the installation before on a golf and didn't need to. I've ordered the bits form the A4 and hoping that I might luck out again! :)

No, the screw that's visble allows you to loosen it and move the bumper in and out, the adjuster throught the other hold is defo for adjustment up and down.
There's actually an adjustment there to lift the bumper and grill. It's a torx head screw located through the hole in the middle of the photo below. My adjustment's bottomed out and I need to take off the bumper to sort it out but maybe you might be luckier?
