Well, after nearly 3 years and 30,000 miles, I just fitted a new set of 4 Vredestein Ultrac Sessanta tyres at a cost of £540.
It hurt to pay that much money but I reckon 30,000 miles is not bad on a quattro.
IMHO, it's the subtle things that leave the biggest impression.
Silver wheels and red rings mayb? Also, de-badging the rear including the S-line badge will definitely improve the look as the B6 S-lines don't have front or rear S-line badges.
On the other hand, if you wanna keep the black...
The 400D is a fairly ok peice of kit but IRRC it was replaced by the 450D which has also been dicontinueCanon 500D is a fantastic camera that will do anything you want and is a lot of camera for the price. You may also consider the 550D.
Dude, you have no idea!! The number of insurance queries that I deal with nowadays is ridiculous!!
and its mainly minicab drivers and dodgy car hire companies that are behind it all.
Hear, Hear!!!!!

I've been running a set of the Vredestein Ultrac Sessanta since mid 2009.
I just did my 3rd free Audi MoT 2 days ago and they still have 4mm left all round after 20k.
Im definately getting them again.
I've been running with them for about two years now.
Was told by Essex police that they were illegal, and I met up with some of my local traffic cops recently and one said to me 'you still running the Audi with dodgy plates?' I laughed and promised to get them changed, that was late last year so...
Mine never steams up, even with the 'Econ' button on.

The Mrs' MB C180K however has to have the aircom on to stop it steaming up and that's another...
I was on a Roadside Check with the Traffic Police and VoSA a couple of weeks ago and a Chav Chariot was pulled. It had a HID kit fitted to reflector headlights. I'd been told by the same VoSA officer before about the washers and self leveling which he said must be present. I then asked if...
Dude, have no fear, CMD's exhaust is fab!! The sound is so sweet. I've got a full resonated Milltek system on mine, but on my next Audi, I'm gonna try the Blue flame.
Also, its cheaper.
