My 56 reg TDi 170 Avant returns an average of 40 mpg. Audi brochures will have you believe that it should be far higher - in fact in the 60s at 56mph. I had this problem too, but the water was gushing out into the boot and coming out under the rear arches. It amounted to a perished pipe within the boot lining. A real nightmare to get to. Fortunately repaired under warranty.

Thank you. I see you can buy the heating elements. I imagine they can be fitted to the standard leather seat. What about the loom/wiring though. Any ideas? Thanks

I have a 56 plate 2.0TDi 170 special edition avant. Does anyone know if it's possible to install the heated front seat system? Are the required looms etc in place already? How much etc, etc. Thanks UJM
