Hi all - can anyone clarify whether I need a controller or not to retrofit the RVC into my MY2015 A6 Avant with MIB2? The Kufatec kit kind of suggests that it doesn't? So just wiring and the grab handle camera plus some VCDS? I've got front and rear sensors already the MMI graphic etc... Cheers

They keep the moisture away from the metal hinge mechanism. I think the noise maybe comes from where they touch the the trim that surrounds the boot lid - so you could try getting some fabric loom tape and sticking some subtly in the areas where they meet.

In the past I've found that the covers on the actual hinges can make a noise - and just pushing them back in place a bit helps.

So If I have one of those for my jack I can leave the sill cover on? Thanks

Feels like the sill cover on my C7 Avant that is meant to be removed before jacking is going to break - is it just pull out towards you like the manual says? Am I just not brave enough?
