managed to get the armrest off and only 1 of the steel angled catches is pulling with the lever. It's how the f**k do you get it apart to fix it? I'm a precision eng to trade so fixing it ain't a problem it's getting into it! Thanks

It was corroded brake pipes!

Sorry tommo 2002 1.8turbo Just found out my mechanic never had time to look at it today. Reading online anybody with the abs problems never had brake fail. My abs light never came on, my brakes just got worse over 3 days. I never saw any leaks in my drive.

No leaks so it looks like repairing my abs pump. Any recommendations?
