Hi!! Just wondering if we have access to any diy guides for changing coil springs?
I’ve recently bought some H&R springs and was looking to do myself. I’ve never done a spring swap on a Quattro so a guide or tips would be greatly appreciated!
2015 S3 (8V) can anybody recommend a good sparkplug with part number? I haven't tried the stealer yet as I was thinking NGK Iridium and looked at BKR7EIX but I was told they wouldn't work with my engine?
Not exactly. Even in Dynamic the flaps are still closed sometimes. It's only during startup, idle, launch control and rpm above 3.000 the flaps are open in Dynamic.
ahhh.... I see! We'v only had the car a short while so I'm catching up with whats-what!
So it would be fair to say the majority...
Can you not just use the individual setting in drive select?
You could set everything to comfort but have the 'Engine Sound' as Dynamic.
Forgive me if im wrong but wont that achieve the same thing without coding or disconnecting the flaps altogether?

I've upgraded from D to G on my A1 1.4TFSI after a remap which also proved too much for my stock actuator... Now running forge with yellow spring (15psi).

I have an A1 with the same 1.4tfsi engine (caxa). Almost immediately after having it remapped I started to hear this rattle and then started to have big stuttering between 2-3k rpm. My tuner came across this linkage issue on a golf forum (again same engine code).
The noise can only be replicated...
So your thinking is something like overboost caused by less than ideal settings(boost/torque limits) over something like a boost leak or coil pack starting to fail?

Excellent mate you'll never get tired of it! I waited 7 years to get one and only had mine for 8months but loved every minute of it! Fairly quick beneath 6,000rpm but hitting that V-TEC all the way to 9,000rpm is something special. I sooo wish i could get another.... after owning one nothing...
The fog lights are in excess of £60 each. I bought mine new from the bay (£72ish for the pair) not oem tho...
I have a sport bumper, grill, fogs and fog covers (complete front end minus the bonnet) i'm about to sell if that helps? It doesn't have washer holes for your Xenons, but i'll check for...

A question with regards to the wiring connection used in the S-Line bumper conversion. I'm going from Sport to S-Line so i'm using the repair wires to connect the new foglight plugs.
Does it mater which way around the 2 cables are connected to the plug.. as in a positive and negative? or does...
