as above, use a wire brush and make sure the hub is clean i had the EXACT same problem when i first fitted mine!!

its been looming as the S sits on the drive 90% of the time but a new house and baby on the way (and the missus' nagging) the cons are starting to outway the pros and im thinking of selling. Ive been looking on AT/PH at Octy Vrs both tdi's and petrols, i haven't driven (or even looked at)...

They came out the factory with one but many get ripped off, i would assume this has happened to yours (mines gone aswell), personally i think having covers everywhere is a PITA! Im sure if you give your local stealers a ring they'd be more than happy to take your money off you!

£1300 is waaay to much, i got my bonnet, both wings and front bumper ( plastic welded and sprayed) all for £400cash. I'd shop around and get a few quotes, in todays market buyers have got the upper hand! just my 2penneth worth :)

I recently had a 'generic' map at Jabba, if you speak to Mike he can make adjustments to suit. still only cost £195 aswell, BARGAIN!

why would they be quoting different figures for the 210/225 i thought they remapped to the same bhp? Jabba sport (a reputable dealer) were offering a generic stage1 for £99 at gti inters!!

DO NOT PAY ANYONE TO DO THIS!! just a case of undoing a few clips, take a few pipes off, install the 00p and reconnect everything, 5 min job!!

yeah reading from a boost gauge, and yeah checked all the pipes i could see, couldn't see anything wrong/split but im no expert! i take it id have to remove the front bumper to check the intercooler pipes etc properly? Oh well.. maybe i can pic up some tips tomoz? if not i think i'll get it...
