    Another tip for clay, keep it in hot water, hot as you can handle to keep it soft and pliable. Also, AG SRP if full of fillers. Its ok for the short term but unless maintained they will just wash out.

    I myself didn't have any trouble with getting the damper out of the hub, but maybe because they have been out before. On the rear, I undid the lower wishbone from the hub to remove the spring, once again, this had been out before so was pretty easy to do. For the scuttle I just lifted it up...
