After searching i have found out haynes don't do a manual for the quattro, does anyone know how big of a job it is to replace a clutch on the quattro, or if anyone has a step by step guide including diagrams.:banghead:

Does anyone know what the sensor on the thermostat housing is for, and would it affect the temp reading, also the fan seems to be on all the time, replaced the coolant temp sensor. Thanks:banghead:

Replaced my coolant temp sensor on my 2001 A4 1.8t and car is no different, i had a look at the housing where the thermostat is and where the sensor is housed the plastic has broke off that holds it in place so it's not secure, could this be causing it, any idea how much a new thermostat housing...

Hi has anyone got a step by step guide to removing thermostat ? Also engine management light comes on displaying a problem with the cooling, the temp guage stays at 50 and the car runs rough. Any help is appreciated. Cheers:banghead:

I was pushing my 1.8t quattro into a corner today, it went round the corner but the traction control light came on with the ABS light and stayed on for the journey home, when i stopped the car and left it for a while and started up again the lights went out. Any ideas,have i anything to worry...
