righto, update of all updates!! finally got a misfire logged on VCDS. Cylinder No. 3 I thought that will be the coil pack right? wrong.. had to replace the spark plug and coil pack on 3. did a test drive and it was much better, but in for a penny, in for £300. So I have now changed all 6 plugs...

Mine has the rattle for about 3 seconds on a cold start. Then nothing, but the other day I noticed it after it had been sat for only an hour. Still, never lasts longer than a second or 2. What’s yours like?

Update. I stripped down and replaced the air filter. It was a bit dirty tbh. And had a good check of all intake attachments for tightness and all vacuum lines. I then blasted the throttle body valve with cleaner and cleaned that right up as this made a huge difference to my 997. Stuck an...
