Ive had this on my last 2 a4 avants (both s lines with 18's) and gone down the balancing route a few times but to no avail. It maybe worth checking the plastic underbody trim as this was loose on mine and was flapping about at speeds of 70 upwards, sorting this has reduced the vibration alot but...

30psi all round is a good place to start. It may also be in the manual or on the inside of the drivers door as 18's are an option.

Does anyone know where the egr is on a 2006 a4 2.0tdi, is it a seperate valve or is it part of the inlet manifold?

Maybe its egr system then, i was suspected that this caused the idle shaking on my previous b7, my friend reckons its common, i may just remove the whole system, cooler and all. Wish i had never sold my BMW really :(
