All of the other lights are working ok, I was beginning to think it might be a wiring fault.
I think further investigation is needed, once it stops raining I'll go out and give it another going over!
I've only had the car a few weeks, so I'd presume they've been faulty since I got it.
I've noticed a problem with my A3 brake lights.
The two tail lights weren't working, but the high level 3rd one still works. I've replaced the bulbs and checked the connections in the tail light, all seems ok - but still they're not working.
I thought it could be the light switch, but was...
Given the condition, I'd of thought it'd be worth no more than £4.5k

I've got an A4 1.6 SE, its an ok for driving about in - it'll never win any races, but it gets us there eventually.
Its currently on the standard 16" alloys, I'm thinking of upgrading them with something bigger. I had 18" RS6 replicas on which weighed considerably more than the originals and...
Well, having filled up yesterday I worked out I'm getting 35.5 MPG which is about 10% less than the DIS reading.
However, last night I changed the wheels going from the OEM 16's to 8x18's & 225/40x18 tyres.
Do you think this is going affect the fuel consumption?
Thanks for the feedback. I'm getting close to the end of my first tank, the MPG thats coming up seems to be a lot better than I'd of imagined. I'll be able to confirm it when I fill it up.
I've been offered a set of RS4 Replica's pretty cheap. At the moment my 1.6 A4 is running 7 x 16 wheels with 205/55x16 tyres & ET42. The RS4's 8.5 x 18 with 225/40x18 tyres & ET35.
I'm just wondering if they'll fit ok and its going to affect the fuel consumption and zap what little power the...
Sometimes I've heard that the Volkscentre is sometimes dearer than specialist cars. Hawco in Peterhead are often recommended, I've used them in Elgin sometimes in the past. Not sure where I'll put my current A4
I used to have one as a company car, never had to carry kids in it. I opted for two seats in the back rather than the bench. This meant it could only carry 4 people. The boot is great for cases and carrying shopping - although buggies might cause a problem.
The interior is great, mine was a...
