A think a few people have already helped answer this, but over the last month Ive had the chance to cancel my RS3 (which has been at my dealers for 3+ weeks!) and move into a company Golf R, A45 AMG or TTS.
I've tried my hardest to take a company car!!
When you compare the Golf R to an RS3 on...
You don't really have an option to hand it back at 2 months. You need to sell it and pay off your PCP. if you ask the dealer for a bid please be sitting down. S1's seem to be struggling to sell and trade bids are not too hot I'm afraid
Well I've been trying to sell my S1. Good spec and about £30k list. Best so far is £20-1k at around a year old. S1 seems to be getting a bit of a kicking residuals wise. Going to keep mine a little longer
Thanks.
The fact it is unlimited numbers and potentially there is a facelift on the way don't help, on the other side lead times are reasonably long, but the same was true with my S1 and that is still taking a bit of a kicking
So I ordered my RS3 in April and my car arrived about 3 weeks ago at the dealers. I'm currently enjoying divorce and don't want to blow lots of money on the RS3. I don't expect to keep it more than 18 months.
Just seen my S1 struggle keeping its value and watched closely the RS3's competitors...
As models evolve and the mainstream models most hot hatches get more refined I think it throws a challenge for the division responsible for the hot/ultimate hatch version.
Looks at most of the latest cars with artificial sound. That's most German cars now. Audi have not gone this route with the...
Sorry but going to have to disagree to an extent
I've driven the S5 a few times and I'm the fleet manager at work. End up driving the current A4 quite a bit and recently replaced an A3 8V.
Just don't see how the S5's interior is a nicer place to be. All the switchgear, Sat Nav binnacle etc are...
As already pointed out the S5 is very dated now and will be replaced next year. That will signal big depreciation and driver envy when you see the new lighter, more modern looking one. Not the right time to be buying a new S5 IMHO.
Yes that's normal. Mine did the same and it ties in with going to Code 20 when your spec is locked. I've been in this stage for nearly three weeks and my car should be built in the next week to 10 days.
